White whine again
THE GREAT EXEGEETER IS ONCEAGAIN WHINNING ABOUT "DEBATE"
I noticed that James White, "The Great
Exegeeter," has stoked up his "White Lightnin" still again, and his Arizona desert brew is about the same 100-proof whine as usual.
He is again whinning for someone to debate him. Well, it has been over two years now and the Pedobaptist Hybrid Calvinism promoter has never shown any interest in debating a Creedal Calvinist . . . namely, myself. He is willing to debate with the "easy pick'ns" types -- Mormons, Homosexuals, Atheists, Roman Catholics, Arminians, Muslims, etc. etc., but he easily finds convenient "reasons" for having no interest in putting his Hybrid Calvinism in the ring with a Creedal Calvinist.
He is now nit-picking the "Non-Calvinist" "John 3:16" conference in his ongoing effort of trying to make a name for himself with the "Reformed" Hybrid Calvinists as a scholar, debater, churchman, "exegeeter," video performer, and general all-round "defender of the faith" of the Hybrids.
He'll never make it or get very far cloistered on YouTube, wearing colorful hats, walling his eyes around and frowning, and making occasional "jokes."
We more or less "nailed his hide to the wall" awhile back, and he tends to avoid us like the plague. In fact, he has put out severe "warnings" against us in the effort to protect the brethren from our many wrongs.

CALVINIST:
One reads regularly on SBC Reformed Calvinist blogs how the SBC leadership is picking on Calvinism/Calvinists yet give a pass to some of the SBC mega-church pastors with questionable practices. From what I have seen, these mega-church pastors are not trying to foist their views on the SBC whereas the Founders and many of its associates are out to turn the Convention into a Calvinistic body. This, no doubt, has spurred some SBC leaders to provide a response.
By the by, one of the links in your Flyswatter article, "White whine again," had a comment from Charles acknowledging that he was not a Calvinist:
"It's an honor to have you visit, sir. Some of this blog you'll probably not like. I'm not a Calvinist but I really like Spurgeon. What a supreme soul winner he was! So unlike these Reformed Calvinists of today."

Notice how you, a Creedal Calvinist, and Charles, who is not a Calvinist, can appreciate the work of the other and work agreeably. Both of you are working in a common purpose and have not sought to convert the other to his position. Calvinists and non-Calvinists can indeed work together without, standing on the common gospel, without an agenda to turn the other to his or her position. Of the many years and various capacities in which I have served in churches, I have never come into a clash over this issue.

BOB'S NOTE: I have "worked with" non-Calvinists for many years, and have yet to have had any problems with them, nor they with me. In fact, after seeing so many "go to seed" on controversial theoretical issues, I have had regrets that they have even adopted Calvinism -- at least the "hue" which they did.
Rabid Arminians and rabid Calvinists are "birds of feather" which seek carcases on which to feed their appetites.
